Portable Direct Reading Spectrometer for Alloys - Model CX-9900

1. Optical system
The CX-9900 Mobile Optical Emission Spectrometer uses an optical system that was previously only used on laboratory instruments, and has been specially modified to accommodate the needs of portable spectrometers. It can receive the full spectrum of elements in the analysis wavelength range with precision and stability. The individual components in the optical system, such as gratings or high-precision detectors, are well fixed and protected, making the instrument dust-proof, shock-resistant, and robust.

2. Excite the gun
Standard excitation guns can be used directly with a spark light source for accurate composition analysis of alloys, including element C, or with an arc light source for material sorting and grade identification. A specially designed small optical system can be used to analyze P, S, B, Sn and As in steel. The pluggable interface makes the changeover of the light source very easy and fast.

3. Electrodes and clamps
Electrodes and fixtures can be replaced quickly and easily, without the use of tools. The transition from a spark source to an arc source takes only a few seconds. Equipped with a variety of fixtures to adapt to different shapes and sizes of samples, it can quickly detect tubes, wires, small samples and other special shapes.

4. Interface
The CX-9900 mobile spectrometer offers USB interfaces, printers, monitors, and network interfaces.

5. Battery pack
The high-efficiency light source with a power-saving function ensures that the CX-9900 mobile spectrometer can be powered by an optional battery pack and can be fired hundreds of times on a single charge. The battery can be placed in a trolley or backpack and can be easily connected to the instrument via a socket, which allows the instrument to be used in almost any situation.

6. Trolley
The trolley can be integrated with the instrument to ensure the safety and flexibility of the instrument in work, and the ergonomic design can make the instrument operate in a convenient position and height. If necessary, the trolley can be divided into three parts for easy transportation. Good heat dissipation, continuous excitation 100 times, the temperature of the excitation stage does not increase by more than 5 °C.

7. APF Extension Software
The APF extension software automatically identifies the matrix of the sample to be tested and automatically selects the appropriate analysis program. This feature saves the user a lot of time when detecting unknown metals.

8. WINDOWS SOFTWARE
WINDOWS OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF SUPPORT FEATURES AND OPTIONS, AND IT'S EASY TO USE. A control system with diagnostics supported by hardware and software ensures correct operation by the instrument operator.

9. Scalability
It's easier to change and update the CX-9900 analysis program than any other spectrometer. The ICAL logic system and state-of-the-art technology make it easy to adapt to changing analytical requirements, adding substrates and elements with only the addition of software and no hardware changes.
